World Down Syndrome Day Celebration! Florida Weekly Feature 3.17.21

"Myles’ Message will host a World Down Syndrome Day Celebration from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, March 21, at Lakes Park Pavilion B3.

This celebration will include information on all of the nonprofit’s active projects while providing community engagement and connection for families of children with Down syndrome. The free event is open to the public.

Dorian the Dog and Bubble’s the Clown from Golisano Children’s Hospital will be making a special appearance and light refreshments will be available. Baskets will be raffled with all proceeds benefiting The Congratulatory Project, a basket of unique gifts and resources given to new parents of a child with Down syndrome. Newly released Myles’ Message merchandise will also be available for purchase.

Myles’ Message is a registered 501(c)(3) founded by Maddie Levy, inspired by her son Myles who has Down syndrome. Its mission is to empower parents by providing resources and a supportive community so that children with Down syndrome may reach their fullest potential. The nonprofit also celebrates each child’s worth so they may thrive in a world without limits.
